    Rookwood Golf Course, set in the heart of the countryside near Horsham, needed to widen it's appeal beyond the traditional golfing market. Talking Design were briefed to develop a brand that would appeal to a wider sector, including younger golfers and families. We developed a style that was closer to a holiday company than the traditional scenic course imagery used by most golf clubs, resulting in an exciting campaign that achieved their requirements.

    We developed a colourful style for a series of direct mailshots promoting special club offers. The bright and exciting style was designed in deliberate contrast to the traditional golf club approach of sweeping green landscapes. The result has an appeal to a much wider target market, especially families, and has opened up a significantly larger number of revenue streams.

    A fully content managed website was developed to follow the new branding style. The client is able to upload new promotional offers and news items whenever required so the website is kept fresh and up-to-date. This takes real advantage of one of the major benefits of websites compared to printed materials.
